hello, I just wanted to book an apartment in Spain. In the conversation with the host, there was a total price mentioned but when I selected book botton and in the following step, there was a higher price. how is this possible ? why has the price changed ? thank you. monika

Hello @Monika118. There may be a few reasons: 1. Airbnb service fee added; 2. the host uses Smart Pricing, which might increase your proce to the advantage of the host; 3. the host not being honest - once you inquired they increased the price, which you now get when you want to book.
