can’t access your calendar? CS doesn’t seem to see that as a problem...

Can’t access my calendar from my host account on my phone all day due to yet another unannounced site  “improvement”. making it impossible to manage my listing.

Has anyone else had this issue?

This adds up to 5 unannounced platform changes rolled out without notice or apparently adequate testing.

Sent feedback, which is never responded to.

I called Support to ask why this is happening and sent screen shots.  “Superhost services” replied they have no problem pulling it up on thier company pc’s, and told me I should just use my PC...except I’m traveling and don’t have access.

The rep couldnt seem to fathom why being unable to manage our accounts from our phones (as we previously were able to before all of these site changes) would be a problem.

I asked if it’s a known issue being worked on.  The rep couldn’t say.  I asked to speak to a supervisor of course there are no managers or tech support reps available either...which has become the usual answer from airbnb “support.”

I’ve worked in customer service for 30 years, as a rep and trainer. I’d be fired if I allowed my staff to respond like this. It’s not the reps fault, it’s a management issue.

This company is trying to grow too fast and can’t support its bulk.

@Susan1028

maybe it's not the case here but I was unable to enter my calendar in the past and all I had to do is to update my iphone .

I tried to enter my calendar on my phone now and it works.

Thank you @Branka-and-Silvia0

Your kind suggestions are appreciated.

When I could I also checked in on my PC and encountered the same problems.  Both devices are up to date.

It took 3 calls, but I found a member of "Support" that listened and was willing to troubleshoot.  We figured out it WAS the new "professional tool" and "improve your performance" rollouts that created the issues in my case.

I was told they're created for hosts who list multiple properties, to make the admin easier for them, but it creates formatting chaos for single property hosts.

We swtched back to the pre-rollout settings and everything was fine...but I'm still being asked to switch to the new tools on almost every hosting page, so, like the "price tips" that also do not apply to my listing, I ignore those suggestions as well.

I don't want to be a downer, but this is just one more example that independent single property hosts are not a priority as changes are made.
