My guest canceled her reservation then waited for a cancellation notice and reserved some different dates. She texted me through the webite and said all was good! Reservation made and paid in full. However; the calendar still shows her original reservation and I (the Host) have not received any cancelation OR a new booking notice from Airbnb. This happed about 2 hours ago. Should I just wait to see what happens? I DID NOT cancel the reservation the guest did. Also-how did she pay in full? Appreciate the assiatance. Peggy
@Peggy0 I would call AirBnB your calendar should have cleared in an hour or less after her cancelling.

@Peggy0 Were you sent a message that the guest wants to cancel and asking you to accept or decline the cancellation? If so, this is considered a host cancellation (I know, it's bizarre and deceptive). As Letitia says, you need to contact airbnb to explain the situaytion and get them to straighten it out. Make sure they don't register this as a host cancellation.
