carbon monoxide detector alarm

I had a stay booked in a home that had a carbon monixide detector going off. I was unable to contact the host. What can I do to get a refund? We weren't able to stay because we weren't excited about dying.

Did you contact Air BNB to cancel your stay stating the reason?  Any refund will be managed by them.
