Anyone familiar with how to charge a per bag garbage disposal fee, after guests leave?  thanks

I usually charge a cleaning fee of 66$usd which includes garbage disposal. As far as a single few I would suggest to consider your area, your charges etc. But I think that's more of a discretion. Otherwise having a rule of leaving the place as they founded would be of help.

Just part of the "cleaning fee".

I have just started hosting but I ask my guests to do what we do - I provide three bags: one for compostable stuff (in compostable bags) a second for recycle and a third for garbage items.  So far everyone has been really excellent with the system and I include both cleaning fees (garbage included) in my daily rate.  I find it easier that way (I've had 14 sets of guests to date)

As you will see most people include this within the cleaning fee. It's become complex and really not worthwhile if you start quoting rates for garbage disposal in your listing (which you would have to do) and then trying to use the resolution centre to collect charges after departure. I am guessing we are not talking big figures so most guests would also find it tedious to have emails coming through asking for a few dollars etc.

In addition to cover you if there was any extreme situation, have a security deposit in place if you don't already.
