long term rental vs. short term rentals in Dubai

long term rental vs. short term rentals in Dubai

I am looking at offering a 1bedroom apartment at JLT or JBR and I have a confusion. If I become a superhost and command a good price for my property will I make more money than a long term rental? Say for instance, a person makes AED120,000 on an apartment annually, how much more in percentage terms can I expect to make?--As compared to short term rentals (considering hot months when tourism is low and I have to offer a lower price than winter months and also months like Ramadan when hotels sell at the lowest price.)

We don't know @Aaresh0

You will need to carry out your own market research.

What are similar properties let for in your area?

How often are they let?

What sort of people come to stay in your area?

What is the long term rental market?

How much would you earn?

Do your research and figures and then you can decide

Dear Helen,

Thanks for your reply. However, I'm looking for a "Dubai super host's" perspective on this as I am currently conducting market research on the area and the numbers dont add up.

@Aaresh0 - Superhosts do not receive anything special in the way you are looking to monitize for research.  Please read about Superhosts and their benefits:

There is no identified correlation between being a Superhost and price.
