new layout for reviews

Slow irritating and much harder to use- why why why change something that worked perfectly well. ? I am talking about having to click through 4 pages to give a review....and the guest name no longer appears in the heading making it hard to keep track if - like me- you do 20 reviews at a time

Yes, I thought it was just happening to me. I have had to give up reviewing guests on my smart phone as I was going round in circles. I can do it on my Chromebook but the old way worked, why fix it if it wasn' t broken? This is making the review process frustrating, it needs to change back, this new system isn't working, I do not have time for this!

I so agree, this is a true downgrade, not an upgrade.  We now have to click through 6 pages; we used to have it all on one page.

The guest's name not being there is a real problem if they have a foreign name that is difficult to remember the spelling of.  Also there is the nagging feeling that you might be reviewing someone else.

They should put it back to how it was before.  There is no logic what-so-ever in making the review process take longer.

It seems that they employ computer code writers who don't have anything to do so they invent busy work.  Nor have they ever been guests or hosts so they don't understand us.

i totally agree!!!

As we’ve all already asked @Prue0 , of Airbnb software and marketing gurus:

”Stop tampering and tinkering with what’s not broken... but please fix the absurd, complicated and broken..................!”

Why on earth did they change it at all?????? So stupid, I need to see the guests info to remember them while I write the review, I manage 10 properties, so VERY important.  CHANGE IT BACK AIRBNB!!!!!!!!!!!

i post an average of 5 reviews per week. The new method is pathetic. In addition to the well made points above . . . (1) why do i have to click no after every review on the option to refer a new host!!! (2) why after the last click do i get returned to the page to search for a new accommodation as a guest (it should return to either the host dashboard or advance to the next reservation pending a review.

This change is truly awful.... clicking through all those screens, then you get an Airbnb spam message about asking friends to list with them, and then the final insult, you get dumped back to the standard homepage and not the hositng dashboard.

Just bloody awful, Airbnb.

I don't understand why the reviews for my property are no longer in chronological order. It now looks like my last review was 2 years ago. WTH?

Yep, a terrible idea to change what was already working. I copy and paste the guests names into the review window because I cannot remember who the review is for. I wonder if the guests have the same problem when they leave a review? Maybe it discourages them to make a review.

I agree - i host 2 and cohost another 2 and i cant tell which property the guest stayed at to help identify them ...i got in trouble for leaving a review for one of my daughter's guests accidentally - they take it very seriously (as well they should) but sometimes i leave one or 2 line reviews ...and they leave full paragraphs because they're all about the personal experience ...airbnb actually is discouraging me from taking the time to go back to my inbox and identify who "keith" is and what property he stayed at ...so i'm falling behind ...it's so elementary but for some reason airbnb is unable or unwilling to attach the property with the guests first name...hugely irritating and a huge time waster...i mention it every time i call the (very good) customer service....

totally agree and I resent being given a script before I can write a personal comment. It was fine before. You should tell your GUI team not to fix things that aren't broken.
