i have been hosting for over a year. Usually my payments are received with 24 hours of the guest checking in. However my previous payment has not been received and is still showing as upcoming payment despite the date for the payment being passed. What is happening ?
There may be multiple reasons for this. You should have received an email from Airbnb to inform you. This happens if, e.g. you need to upload government ID or provide business information.
If you did not receive an email, contact Customer Service so they can check the reason or check for possible bug.
Have chased and so far been on the phone for almost 2.5hrs!!! They are a joke! They have not taken the money from the guest as the payment failed. Then as a result they failed to notify me and cancel the reservation - they actually believe that I should have known and it is my fault!!!
They believe that I should wait and cannot say how long for.
