@Gjyljeta0 The ONLY cash you would take is for the taxes that you may or may not owe your tax office like we do in Hawaii. I have to collect tax payment from my guests which is stipulated on my listing. This is the same tax they would pay any hotel in Hawaii too. However, I would also like to offer up some additional advice about those coming to your home....DO NOT ever allow anyone to come to see your home prior to getting an "acceptance" from Airbnb reservation system. I have noticed that other hosts will get requests from potential guests asking to see the accommodations prior to their actual booking. Its a potential scam to get robbed. Its happened to me twice having guests ask me for my address before they have even paid Airbnb or before I have even Pre Approved them. NEVER give out your private information to anyone. Anything they will need, will come from Airbnb booking confirmation email. I also had a guests, who booked my home, got the confirmation email, used the address to come see me , and canceled on me just so he could come to my home and offer me cash instead. I reported him immediately by calling Airbnb. He was removed from the community.
Take the time to read the many helpful articles that are on the Airbnb website as a new Host. It was very helpful for me a year ago when I first started. Aloha, Momi, Superhost in Hawaii. #LiveThere
