please help a newbie

Hello, I am new to Air bb and  have some questions please....

 

 

  • I have guests that don't know how to leave reviews. How can I help anyone who has not reviewed me by prompt ing them with a link on how to do so. theym left good reviews in my book at home but not online, yikes
  • I want to leave a lovely review for a couple who left this morning but I have not been invited to yet, I cant find a way to do it
  • I have a gentleman who has a booking with me on 5th Aug. When I look at the reservation it is marked as a cancellation and re-booking. I did not cancel on him so why has this happened? I'm very concerned that it shows on my account that I cancelled them when I did not. Any ideas how to have it removed? Ive tried all the Air bb email addresses but they bounce back undelivered

1. You guests should have received an email to review you. The reminder to review should also be in their messages under notifications.

2. At times airbnb is not prompt sending the email to review. Wait a day or two and it should show up in your email.

3. Sometimes the guest cancels because they put in the wrong dates or wrong # of people. My guess is (and I've had this happen) is that they canceled for some reason and then resent their request. This could have happened very quickly (OMG I put in the wrong dates--quick cancel) It shows up as a cancel reguardless of who did it.

You and your guests will be sent prompts to review soon. Some guests choose not to, especially those who write in the guestbook prior to leaving.

Hi Caroline, I usually just prompt them before they leave by messaging them and saying 'hope you enjoyed your stay etc etc' and then saying 'we're a new listing so it would help us out a lot if you can leave a review on Airbnb for us'. Usually they are quite good about it especially if they have enjoyed your hosting. All four of my guests which I asked have left good positive reviews as I went out of my way for them.
