pricing changes

I recieved a pre-approval for a 2 month stay; on my account, it shows as 1 price but the message to the guest shows as being a lower price - by $300+. I have smart pricing and long term discounts on my listing. I know there are fees and what not to take into account, but it seems like it should be the other way around (I get paid less than the guest pays rather than I recieve more than they'd pay)

I'd be happy to accept the guest at either price - but is it normal to see such a variation between what AirBnB shows me as potential income and the guest's real price?

The Capitol you receive is a result of air bnb booking fees. They charge both parties, the traveler/guest and host. When you see two separate prices that is reflecting what you will actually make and what they are actually paying total with bnb fees. You can adjust the total price (not including extra guest fees and extra host fees)
