Do other hosts have this problem: We have a queen size bed and a single. The single is an extra AU$30 a night for linen, making the bed and extra towels. We have put this in the house rules but The problem is most people don't read house rules. So when people book we ask them if they need an extra bed. They say yes so we tell them that it's an extra $30. But because they have already booked and paid there's no where to pay the extra $30 we say just pay us in cash at the end of your stay. Some pay some don't. We don't like doing this so I've asked airbnb to put in a how many beds option next to the how many people option. I hope they can do this as I'm sure I'm not the only host who has this problem. Any thoughts from other hosts on this?
Hi there
I recommend you finally add the 30 dollar to the price and you will not have any problem etc
@Peter1609 you could have two linked listings, one with the twin and one without.
Yea Lisa great idea
you can charge them an additional 30$ through the resolution center ( add and receive money) and they should accept it for you to be paid.
Or You can do what @Lisa723 suggested
Or you can do what we are doing - we have the same situation in our apartment - queen bed and twin bed. Sometimes 2 guests book but they want to sleep on 2 separate beds. We don't charge it extra because we have single size duvets so if they sleep together or separate they will get the same 2 duvets and 2 pillows. The only difference is 1 extra sheet.
