push notifications

The app (IOS) has stopped sending push notifications to my devices. How can I fix this?

I am sure when I started using the Airbnb app I used to get push notifications to my mobile for guest check-in and check-out, in addition to booking requests and messages from guests. In the past couple of months the check-in and check-out reminders have ceased (still getting other notifications). The reminders were very useful, as I am really busy with my real job and sometimes lose track. I am using ios, my location is Ireland. Can you tell me whether I should get guest arrival and departure reminders to mobile, or am I getting confused with email notifications?

Incidentally, it doesn't look like anyone from Airbnb is monitoring this forum to answer this type of query, and their site based "help" is basic at best. Could do with providing better host support - or even rapport! - on tech issues.

I can't remember ever receiving arrival and departure reminders as push notifications. I get these via email.

 

I found that, regarding technical support, at the end of reading a help topic, response to the effect that your problem was not solved by the forum allows you to escalate and leave a message. I then received a phone call from a real person within 24 hours and my problem was dealt with very efficiently from there. Good luck!
