Hi, dear all, recently I have booked a room and made the payment after pre-approved by the host, but due to some reason, I need to cancel the reservation, and the host has already agreed with the cancellation, however, due the long term policy, my payment has been accepted by Airbnb, the host agreed to return my payment, but he said that he didn't receive my payment, how did he pay me back" . But my credit card has been charged, how can I get my money back?
Thanks a lot!
AirBnB have your money, they refund whatever has been agreed.
@Yiwei0 Your host can instruct Airbnb to refund you through the Resolution Center. He or she doesn't have to receive it in order to refund you. Here's more info on how the Resolution Center works:

Hope this helps! Clare
The host does not receive the funds until after you've check in, so Airbnb has your money and they will refund you. Call customer service.
