Hi,
our host cancelled the booking, which is a problem in itself, since my 3 siblings (+ wifes/husbands and children) from 3 European cities arranged this week holiday in Cornwall.
But now we face the following problem:
Through paypal they made me pay (11th December 2016) 3.569,00 EUR which equaled 3.647,00 USD (1 EUR = 1,02 USD), but what I got back yesterday was 3.154,12 EUR wich again equals 3.647,00 USD (1 USD = 0,86 EUR).
I guess we actually have to face enough problems finding a new accomodation within the set period of time and the set area, since the flights are already booked. The host had this amount of money to his disposal for half a year and now we lose over 400,- €???
Shouldn't the host answer for the damage???
I hope AIRbnb will concern itself with the problem. Any ideas where I can put my request? Do I have a chance?
