review not sent or showing

Hello, can anyone tell me why a review I've written has not been sent to the guest? when I click on 'leave a review' it says it's no longer avalible to edit.

I can read the review they left on me, seems very strange.....

Hey,

It's only possible to leave review up to 14 days after the booking has ended. After that the review from either party who went first will be posted.

@Kirsten24 I have the same problem.  I had a guest last week who checked out on Jan 10th.  I wrote a review for him that day and yet the same message still appears in my inbox - "please leave a review for xxx."  I thought that perhaps I had made a mistake and not submitted it but when I clicked to write it again I just got told that I could not edit the review I had already written!  I also checked in the "Reviews by You" section and it does not appear.  The guest has not written a review about me yet but as he is a regular and was here again thiis week I mentioned it to him so will see what happens when he writes his.

As a matter of interest, was the guest that you wrote the review for a repeat guest who had stayed with you before?  

I have reported it to Airbnb who promise to "look into it"  but I don't have an answer yet.

Airbnb have gotten back to me and sent a screen shot of the review on their page. Because they are also hosts it showed up under 'reviews from hosts'

They are actually my neighbours and booked for their relatives, thats how I knew they hadn't received the email saying I had left a review

@Rachel0 It has happend to me many times that even though I have written a review it still says I need to write a review on the dashboard. It must be a bug in the system. All of my reviews has been posted despite the message.

yes it must be a bug and I know they haven't recieved the email telling them my review.

Hi @Kirsten24 🙂 I looked at your listing and it seems that all the guests that reviewed you in January has also got a review from you. But maybe it is from December?
