I am not sure how to write a review.  If you have people staying and they behave and they are quiet and well

behaved etc then what do you say - do you rave about them or just be nice??

Is there a format??

@Tina-And-Robert1 there is no format, you can write whatever you want no matter how short or long it is. I just write "Name of the person booking" and his friends were great guests, I recommend them. I think it is enough for good guests.

@Tina-And-Robert1    No format,  some hosts write long reviews some not.

I never write anything personal/private, nor do I mention the name of the guest's guest. I add "easy to host" or "super easy to host"  for guests who are, so that future hosts know they were not a pain or overly demanding. Clean, tidy, respectful, responsible, friendly,  good communication  are also words I use.

Hello @Tina-And-Robert1   What a beautiful BNB you have!  The pictures are stunning.  However, you have made a newbie Air BNB host error.  You have listed all three bedrooms under one listing which means a guest could potentially book the whole place not just a single room.  You need to have a listing for each room and if you want for larger groups you can set up a listing for the entire home.  I know this is not what you asked, but it can be a big problem and you will ultimately be penalized as a host.  That is not your posted question I know but you might suffer big penalty as a host including listing suspension if your listing is not correctly representated.

As to your question, I am fortunate enough to have lovely guest for the most part and actually enjoy making my review fairly personal.  If a guest is annoying I might be neutral as long as they did not cause damage, break house rules or disrespect the property.  On a couple of occassions I had to not recommend a guest and I would address the general area of concern in the review.

Hi Linda

Thank you for your message re the three rooms etc.  It has been worrying me how to do this as if one person books a room then it shows on the calender that we are booked out and so no one else trys to book.

But if listing three times for three different rooms - do you need to give different name or heading for the advert??  Plus if someone wants to book three rooms which does happen often, say if they are coming for a wedding etc. I dont want to put entire house as we do not

offer use of the kitchen - it is for Bed and Breakfast?

I have tried to speak to someone at airbnb or at least email them, but there is no way to do this.

So I would appreciate any hints on this matter

Tina

@Tina-And-Robert1 you can still list the entire place and in the description explain that the guests won't have access to the kitchen. Many hosts do that.
