service fee 1/4 of the total?

I just made a special offer to a guest and the service fee of airbnb is 500 e which has made me lower my price to 2000 to meet their needs, is it  normal for a fee to be 1/4 of the tottal request

it looks like a typo..

and why is airbnb customer service so crappy if they take such a service fee?
