star rating not showing up

Hi everyone!  Just had my very first guest and I have just got my review which is super positive - excpet there is no star rating showing?  Can anyone tell me why this is?  It just says "1 review" with no stars.  I know the reviewer left stars as she when I contacted her she said she did.....

The star rating does not show up until you have three reviews.

It takes awhile to catch up. Just 'bask' in the knowledge that your first guest gave you a 'Ritz Carlton' review. Congratulations on your first guest and on your first success. May many follow.

The same thing just happened to me. Thanks for the answer, but I would have to ask, WHY? Don't they think it's a good idea to help new hosts attract more business when they have 5 star reviews on their profile? We work so hard to get set up and started and wait and watch for that first review only to have nothing show up on our page? I really don't understand the logic behind this.

@Cheryl248 I think they do it to protect the hosts.

What if your first review is a 1 or 2 star review?

That would appear as your rating, and then no one would book with you.

And you would forever be a 1-star listing.

Well, I guess that makes sense! I didn't think of that! Then I guess I will just wait for my first 3 bookings to be finished and I'm sure everything will be fine! (It won't take long, anyway. We have 3 bookings this month.)

I noticed, I cant see star rates below guests review too. And Im host for 2 years already. I know, I could see it easy before , dont know whats going on.
