text and email notifications not to be disabled completely. Why?

Hello, I'm using the AirBnb mobile app. I get three types of notifications: Push, Email and text message. This is very annoying.

I find push notifcations perfectly suffient and the most convenient. I tried to disable email and text notifications.

Apart from the settings being hard to reach on both mobile and web (profile->edit probile->account) and inconsistent (I can't configure text message on the web, or email in the app, why?!), I found that email and text notifications cannot be turned off completly:

"You'll always receive text message updates for Account Activity"

"Account activity
Payment notices, reservation confirmations, review activity, and security alerts. These are required to service your account. You may not opt out of these notices"

I find this quite pedantic and not a good user experience at all. The solution for me is to filter emails and text messages.
