i am planning a trip to goa, india. i reserved a place without talking to the host. i made a payment through my debit card.. the amount has been credited from my account but the host declined the reservation.. i cant see anything in my payouts now. how and when will i get my money back? please help

Refunds can take up to 10 days or the refund can be transferred to a new booking by choosing one and getting customer service to book it for you.

@Ashish42 read about reservations in India in the link above, that is the only place when you are charged when making a request so it is not a good idea to just request to book without contacting the host first. Also if more hosts accept your reservation you won't be elegible for refund for any of the reservations. In general it is not a good idea to just send a booking request without any communication, people want to know who is coming in their home, that is the whole point of waiting for the approval.
