verify account details

Hi i have received an email asking me to update my account details but there is no mention of which listing they are referring to.  I have multiple accounts for different listings.   Any suggestions on how I work out which one they want?

@Fiona27 I am guessing it is a scam. Many hosts get such emails that tell them to update their info from sites that look like Airbnb and when they enter their info, they hack their profiles. If Airbnb really needs such info they would send you a message in the app also. I wouldn't answer anything, maybe contact Airbnb for info but don't open any links in the email.

@Fiona27  Call AirBnB, this is a legit thing this time I am sure. A ton of host have been asked for this most had a respond by October 18th date or you account will no longer payout to you until completed. Most had to reload their government ID's and/or verify banking information and tax ID information. Either use twitter or call to verify first to be safe, but if it's what the other hosts have been getting they will stop paying you shortly after if you do not comply.

I agree with the other two posters.

Phone Airbnb asap and discuss, before you hand over sensitive information such as bank details etc etc......like the others, I think it’s a possible scam or identity fraud in process.

 @Victoria567  I am pretty sure the email is legit. A lot of hosts have been getting them in all different countries. The more money you have made this year the higher your chances to have to verify tax ID and government ID @Fiona27  makes a lot of money from the price of her rentals, so I can see her being one of them that is being asked to verify.

Thanks everybody.  I am pretty sure it is legit as the request comes via my app aswell.  My problem is I have many listings with different account details and they dont specify which one they want verified.  I have sent a message to Airbnb so hopefully they will respond.
