why do I have to verify my credit card every time I use it?

Every time me or my colleagues try to book an apartment we are asked to verify the one corporate card we all use. This is quite annoying because the verification code gets sent only to my phone. The card must have been verified more the 20 times (and it is not the bank, I have called them, they don’t even receive a charge attempt)
How can I tell AirBnB to stop verifying the card every single time?
