17 but going to be 18 when on trip

Hello, 

I am trying to book a trip to Norway and Denmark from May 29th - June 13th, 2019. I do not turn 18 until May 4th. I am trying to figure out a way to book the Airbnbs I have picked out legally. I don't want to wait until May to book because I feel like by then there will be nothing left to book. 

I have read that maybe contacting the host through my parents account and explaining the situation they could save the date for me until I turn 18?

@Josie67, you could still try to book places through your parents account and explain the situation to your potential host, but bear in mind that 3rd party bookings are against Airbnb policy. I would suggest that there will be plenty of places left if you wait until May 4th to book. Probably safest that way to avoid any issues.
