Our house is in the Canary Islands and, by law, in the Canary Islands we have to put IGIC (Sales tax) on our rentals. How can I set it up so it adds 7% to the invoice. Although we are in Spain, we are taxed differently so it must be a Canary Islands specific taxation.
Unlike a lot of other rental sites, Airbnb does not have a way to add a line for taxes. You can include the taxes in your base rate, you can send the tax amount to the guest as a request through the Resolution Center, or you can collect the tax in person. If tax will be collected after the fact, you will need to include this in your listing so guests aren't caught off guard.
