AirBnB is changing my listed price & paying me less

Is anyone else having problems with AirBnB changing their prices? I list my rooms as $60 and $65 yet the guest sees it as $59 & $64. My calendar price is correctly listed, yet the guest pays less than my listed price. This has happened to me before and I contacted AirBnB but could not get them to check it out. NOW IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN!

How can I get this fixed sensibly and timely and why is this happening? Anybody else having this problem????

You and I have non-US listings, @Pauline106. It has to do with exchange rates and rounding. The system, as I understand it, converts to and from the US dollar even when someone like me, in the same country and using the same currency as you, looks at your listing or books with you. The odd time it will add a dollar to mine, but more often takes away a dollar. There is nothing to "fix", so it will do no good to keep contacting Airbnb. I wish they had explained it when you called.

Thanks for that explanation. All AirBnb had to do is send out automated replies to such inquiries. There must be others wondering why this happens.

Thanks again. Makes perfect sense now.

Hi Pauline, I've same problem like yours. I list my room RM278 per night per person (I've 3 bedrooms that can accomodate up to 5 person) but the guest pay RM152.00 x 2 nights for 5 guest !!! Can someone help me how to contact airbnb staff?

The guest will be coming on the 8th September, and I already email the guest but no respond from them. Can I cancel the booking?
