Can someone read this and tell me if Airbnb is offering free accommodation.....at the host's expense? I want to have my house in the program but I thought Airbnb would at least go halfway with the loss in revenu that I would have. But it appears that Airbnb wants us to host for free. Very generous of Airbnb.....but maybe I am not reading this correctly?

Seems you have 2 options, to do it for free or ask for a subsidy.

I assume they will prioritise those who offer for free.

I do not know how things operate in Canada but certainly is some places you need to be approved to go into this area, like volunteering in schools, you need to be checked out.
