App Suggestion - Estimated Guest Arrival and Departure Times

Please please pretty please Airbnb can the app provide a space to record the guests estimated arrival and departure times. All hosts ask for these and many share this info with cleaners. It is  needed to schedule cleanings and to allow subsequent guests know if an earlier check in time is available.

I am trying for similar locks which assign codes.  Which one do you use?

I like the extra charge for an early check-in.

I totally agree, that would be really useful information to have without always having to ask!

It would be really helpfull if there would be some way for guests to fill in an estimated time of arrival, as we always have to ask and our guests are sometimes not responding for days. This makes planning our personal things difficult!

It might be an idea for airbnb to update their arrival check-in and departure time pages, since there are two sections that have to be filled up when creating an advert, in the section 'booking setting' then scroll down to 'policy' you have to fill in the check-in time slot and also departure time, but look carefully because you can get caught out like I did because you have to fill out the exact same information in the section 'availability'. If you don't fill in both sections you can get caught out when a traveller arrives at nearly midnight when you thought you had stated that check-in time was between 6pm and 8pm.
Why airbnb forces us to fill in two sections for the exact same information is beyond me, but until they modify this, make sure you fill in both sections, so as not to get caught out...

I have often sat waiting for hours for travellers to arrive, even when they say what time they will arrive they can still be hours late. I have to send an sms to ask when they arriving but they still don't understand that I too have to eat supper etc.. and can't just waste my evening waiting for them to turn up. Recently some travellers told me they would arrive at 6pm then by 7.40pm I sent them a text saying 'where are you?' they answered we'll be there for 10pm, but at 9.57pm they wrote again to say, we'll be there for 11pm. Finally at 11.35pm they turned up and were very rude, plus the fact that there was one more person than they had paid for, they didn't like the fact that I was questionning them about the extra person and changed the subject but saying that in a hotel they can arrive any time they like. I pointed out that it wasn't a hotel but my guest house and that check-in time was between 6-8pm, and that extra people had to pay extra, they said they didn't like my attitude and prompty left, luckily they had booked through 'bookingcom' and this is considered a 'no show' and so I was paid any way...
