Are any of you independent managers or owners? ie can you process a booking on your own?

Hi all,

Are there any managers or owners out there who are independent, ie can you process a booking on your own? eg take payments, have their own terms and conditions, etc? Please give me your property/ site name (I'm sure we can't share links on here can we?) so I can look you up. Doesn't matter where you are, or how many properties you have. There's some advice I want to share with you that's a game changer. It doesn't affect hosts though and wouldn't be of any use to hosts.

@Deborah58 most of the time the owners are the hosts and do all of the above themselves so I don't know what is the difference, how can it be useful for owners and not hosts ( the whole point of Airbnb is that we rent our properties). This is a public forum so if you have such important advice I am sure other hosts here wouldn't mind reading it.
