I did a very poor job in explaining what I was saying
(and what I thought Dimitris was asking).
If you go to your Stats tab and look at your Ratings, you see several categories:
Overall Experience, Cleanliness, Communication, Check-In, Location, Value.
I understand your Overall Experience Rating is just what the user chooses (and is not calculated from any other the other 6 things).
When you look at the detail for any of those ratings, you see a histogram of all the individual ratings you have received in those 7 categories.
I thought Dimitris was saying that the overall rating in each of the 7 categories was NOT the mathematical average of the individual ratings you received in each of those categories.
But apparently what he thought was that the Overall Experience Rating (one of the 7 categories) was mathematically determined from the other 6? And he was asking how that was calculated (when in actuality it is just set by the guest).
In that case, I misunderstood what he was asking.
So then the overall numbers in the Ratings page of your Stats tab are indeed the mathematical average of the ratings given by the individual guests in each category?
(I don't know if I am making the situation better or worse here..)
