Availability set up

Can i set up my host account to have shared property with 1 room available for 2 people, and at other times have whole house available for 4+ people?

That's going to be tricky. I would set it up as a single listing as a whole house with the base rates set for 2 people and add' charges for the 3rd and 4th (and up) guests.
