Bookings Suddenly Stopped

Hi All!

I've been an Airbnb host since mid August of last year. I've been steadily booked the whole time, (aside from a month at the beginning of the year when I shut down to paint) with fantastic reviews. My listing became Business Travel Ready about 3 weeks ago, and just like that, I stopped receiving bookings. Looking for my listing on my girlfriend's phone (who's been receiving bookings hand over fist, despite a worse location, and a higher price), my listing doesn't show up until you zoom right in on my house on the map, whereas it used to show up fairly close to the top of the list. Has anyone else experienced this, or found a solution? I've contacted Airbnb directly, but they're of no help. I'm getting kinda concerned, because between now and the end of August, I only have two short bookings, when this is supposed to be the high travel season.

If your placed is appear on the first page of the search depends greatly on your recent activity like if you reply enquiries and acceptance of bookings. And for zooming in to get your listing appear is pretty common as I believe most listings will only appear when is more exact to your location.

@Steve2743 I have noticed the same thing.  It seems that this summer, no one is booking, when it should be the busiest.  However, I opened my Airbnb apartment in October of last year, so I'm not sure what to expect in my area in terms of summer bookings.  Early fall was very busy for me, but I live in a college town so football season helped out a lot.  I have also seen other hosts on this forum reference the "Trump Slump" in regards to less traveling/tourism.  If you Google that, there are tons of articles mentioning it.  I am in no way wanting to start a political discussion, just letting you know what I've been seeing.
