Can a tipi be considered a Short Term Rental?

Hi,

If you add 2 tipis with 1 communal bathhouse to your backyard. Would that be considered a Short term rental as well?

I am asking specifically for Texas

Thank you in advance,

@Alex634,

If they do it, you probably can do it too ! :

Hope this helps,

I don't know about Texas but I can say that the Tipi AirBnb scene is really booming!

These are all in a spot called Waihi, which is a lovely tourist spot.  It used to be all about camping, but the Tipi boom has made "glamping" more popular.

@Alex634  I've made a couple of tipis myself and have lived in them as well and they are lovely spaces. Go for it. The only thing I would suggest is that you provide a place for guests to lock up valuables, since it's not a lockable space. You don't want to take a chance on someone staying in one tipi accusing the guests staying in other, or some random thief,  of having made off with their ipad.
