Co-Hosting Feedback Please....

Co-Hosting Feedback Please....

Hi All,

Recently, I have started doing co-hosting, as well as my own properties & am a huge advocate of Airbnb.

I'm looking for others that are also co-hosting, as I seem to have some questions that hopefully you can help me with....

- When I have responded to a Host / Owner seeking a co-host & they want to discuss their property further...as the security via messages, hides phone numbers, email address or URL's....the only way to actually get in contact with them, is to call Airbnb...explain the story, get them to view the correspondence in your inbox & then they send an email to that Host / Owner to pass on your contact details!

Man... what a saga just writing this story...hardly a great way to start as a potential business partner / co-host...any ideas on how that Host <-> Potential Co-Host can actually talk, without having to call Airbnb?

- As Co-Host, guests leave reviews & I can see their great feedback, but cannot see the *****stars that they left...only the Host can.

When I respond to the review, thanking them for staying etc...it is posted that the Host wrote it??

- If I look under Stats, choose the drop down + select listing that I am Co-Host, then scroll down, it says "No reviews yet"...but I have had bookings that I have taken, guests have left a review...?

Possibly more questions...but that's a start!

Thanks in advance for your help 🙂

@SleepOver-Brisbane0 - the system blocks personal information on the mobile application but not the desktop with regards to phone numbers and such.  You can log feedback here: https://www.airbnb.ca/help/feedback

or in Host Voice: https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Host-Voice/idb-p/host-voice

As the co-host, you are not ever going to get reviews from the guests.  Those all go to the listing admin/host.  https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/1550/how-do-ratings-and-reviews-work-for-co-hosts  And yes, it will always appear that the listing host wrote the review since it's attached to their profile, not yours.

As for stars, well, you get no reviews so you don't get to see the stars.  You can request this be added by using Host Voice.

See, you don't need another co-host to talk to, just other hosts who have some knowledge.  Also, you can look up some of the answers to your questions in the Help Center.

Ok cool...

Thanks so much for your helpful answers!

I need to follow more posts on Airbnb 🙂
