Co-hosting

Co-hosting

My wife is trying to add me as a co-host on her account, but when I click on "Get Started", all I get is a message that "You can’t accept an invite for your own listing". What????? Anyone else had this ridiculous experience?

@Candice51 do you have two separate AirBnB accounts with two different email addresses?

 

If any of the contact information is the same, it might confuse the system.

 

My wife and I had no trouble setting the other as Co-Host.
I could see there being trouble if there was an overlap in email addresses.

 

Thanks Matthew. We have deleted the second account but that hasn't helped (yet). Maybe it takes time for the system to adjust itself.

@Candice51 you should be able to do what you are hoping to do!

 

I think it helps if the contact information is completely different

(meaning phone numbers and email addresses).
