Collecting Money from a Guest

Hi Guys

I am really new to hosting through Airbnb so forgive the rookie question.

I have people with a confirmed reservation in March next year.

Question is:

How do I get the payment?

Do I request it or do they pay Airbnb and then Airbnb pay it into my account?

You get the payout sent to you the day after the guest arrives. It may take a couple of days until it goes through. Airbnb takes the money from the guest as soon as the reservation is made and holds it until after checkin.

@Richard591, it is not clear from your message if you had a guest complete their 4 night stay with you, or if you just confirmed a booking for a 4 night stay in the future.

If the booking is in the future, then AirBnB already has the payment and will send your money one day after the guest checks in.

If the guest has already stayed with you, AirBnB should have sent the payment to you already.

If you are a new host, you have to wait 30 days to get your first payment.

You don't have to collect anything from the guest.
