Every time someones asks for a discount it is ALWAYS a problem!!!

And the same person asks a BUNCH of us for a discount.

It's a total time waste.

I've learned my lesson.  Do not give discounts.

Nothing is ever black and white I'm not scared away if anyone asks about discount for multiweek stay for example.  As long as they take my answer of the weekly rate is the same weather you rent 1,2 or 3 weeks 🙂  But in general if they ask for just blanket discount, or keep pressing I woudl walk away.

It's a time waste and when we oblige it encourages guests to waste our time.

Do the math...

The same guest sends the request to 10 hosts.  Therefore 9 people have wasted their time... 90% of the hosts.

And, it never ends up being one email.  Forward thinking tells me not to enourage that behavior. (-;
