Hola everyone!
I sometimes have guests that would love to join for dinner.
How much would you charge for a meal and how dit this worked out for you?
Thank you♡
@Kira32 I wouldn't charge the guests if I occasionally invite them for dinner. But if you plan on cooking for them as an extra service you should add that in your description and add the fee so that they know up-front about the service they will get and the charges they'll have to pay. I find it a bit uncomfortable to have someone join me for dinner and charge them but I guess there are places where this is a thing so it is ok, just write it down in the property description.
Hola @Ana1136
I cook and bake a lot and occasionally I invite people to join me and I don't ask for a fee but when they specifically ask to cook for them, I feel a bit awkward to ask for a fee. I like your idea to mention it on my listing.
Thank you,
Kira♡
Hola @Kira32, I will occasionally offer share a meal with my guests, especially if they are travelling alone and I have enough (and of course I'd never ask them to pay!). However, I am appalled that guests would specifically ask you to cook for them - who do they think you are? Their personal servant? I agree with @Ana1136 - if you are happy to cook for people on request, then you should put it on your listing with a clear price. However, you could be opening up a can of worms for yourself - think of special dietary requirements, food allergies, food wastage, food handling laws, etc. Do you really think it's worth it?
Dear @Kath9
Thank you so much for your reaction.
I just want to know if people have any experience on this field and how much they charge for a meal.
