I had a guest (who also brought 3 other guests) reserve for 3 nights. He ended up only staying 2, and wants a refund for the rest. How do I refund him for the last night? He paid $271 total, so what's fair if my cleaning fee is only $10?
Hi @Ben67, you can refund your guest through the Resolution Centre. He paid the equivalent of $90 a night but as it's presumably too late to re-let the place I would offer something like $45. Don't refund the cleaning fee, you have to do the cleaning however long he was there.
@Ben67 Just because someone checks out early doesn't mean that they are automatically eligible for a refund for unused nights. You had your place ready, you blocked off your calendar and you honored your commitment to the guest. You needn't feel pressured by a guest to refund because they decided to check out early....
