Guest being difficult - please advise

I have been hosting since 2017, I've had all kinds of great guest, and some not so great, all in all it's been good. My last guest was a women, her Airbnb profile said she was from Germany and she was coming to Colorado for work. After arriving at 11:30 pm, she started the next day by seeing "clients" in my apartment. I texted her, and asked what she was doing, she said she was a Life Inurance Consultant, and all the men were her clients. She had Utah liscense plates on her car, so I looked her up and found her on Facebook. She had a different picture then the one on her profile, she was born and lived in Salt Lake, her FB pictures showed her tied up in bondage, having sex with other women, dressed in costums, gag balls in her mouth. Her profile said she was with Models Mayhem, which is a call girl service. I told her she could not do business out of my apartment, and if she needed to see clients, she would have to do it some place else. She decided to leave. The next day when I saw her, she had dyed her hair blue, had on large sun glasses, and left with out a word. The apartment was left very clean, but there were condoms in the trash can. She had booked as the only guest staying, so I can guess at what she was doing. Who does Life Insurance Consulting, and do only men need to be consulted about Life Insurance?  She already has a new Aribnb Profile and is on to the next host. Maybe Airbnb needs to screen guest better, and support host better.

Personally I would call AirBnB and tell them that your last guest was conducting prostitution out of your unit, that - once confronted - she checked out, got a new AirBnB profile and is renting from other hosts.

That's just me...

I did get ahold of Airbnb. They said they looked at her Airbnb profile and could not determine if this women was a prostitute. Also, she looked nothing like her Airbnb picture when I saw her. Now I'm going to change my account to meet my guest when they arrive.

@Leonie35, Yikes! I'm convinced someone will one day compile all of these horrible hosting stories and sell their book on Amazon. Sounds creepy.

Best,

Deb
