Guest violations

Had to cancel a booking tonight because the guests broke our rules and tried to bring an extra guest in right in front of me. I even told him to his face he’s not allowed in. He still went in. They violated my trust and safety and now Airbnb is saying that we will not get the money for the nights we lost. Even though they broke our rules. We will not be able to fill those days.

@Krystle12  You will not be paid for the stay if you did not allow the 1 person that was booked the option to stay without the non registered guest. This is usually the best way to handle it state the one may staythat book period, then the guest cancels since the other person is not allowed to remain. Then you would be paid. It stinks when you need to turn away guests and lose the booking, but that is the way it works.

You cancelled the booking? A definite no-no in the Airbnb world.  I suppose this was a 7th person because you do allow up to 6 people in your place?

abb does not pay for nights that guests dont stay when you ask them to leave. your only recourse for misbehavior is to get them to leave but you dont get to keep their money
