ok, here's the procedure:
1) write a message to your guests who did this on Airbnb platform, saying that they broke the bed and you want financial compensation from them for their action and that you will file a claim against them. Say that if they refuse you will then involve Airbnb. Send pictures to them as well (I attach them on the message form my phone Airbnb app)
2) simultaneously go buy a new bed and keep the receipt handy.
3) file a damage claim with Airbnb platform.
3) if the next day the guest will not respond or decline the payment a button will appear on your claim with the caption "Involve airbnb". If it doesn't appear call customer service and get them involved right away.
4) Submit evidence to Airbnb: pics and the receipt of the new bed.
It takes about a week or two but most likely you will received the approved claim and a bit later money will be give to you.
