Help! Already have a booking but payment method is pending

Hi everyone!

 

I just had my first booking and it's already in a 3 days – hosting is so new to me that my payment method is still pending and will take up to 5 days to be approved!

 

Does anyone know what I should do in this situation? How do my guests pay?

@Sofie32,

Your payout can not be processed until you have setup a proper payout method.

The payouts are listed in the Transaction History pages and you can check the status.

If you payout method is still not approved, maybe contact Airbnb if it takes to much time, or add another one.

Hi Emiel, Thank you for replying! Yes, I've set up a payment method – it just seemed to be pending during the process of approval so I got a bit nervous because I thought that meant that the guests hadn't paid. However, was informed that they've paid Airbnb who will pay me once the payment method has been approved. Thank you, though.
