Yes you will be charged more because PayPal will take their pound of flesh which I think is 3%. If it is by bank transfer to your bank account then you won't pay that but you will have to wait a few days longer to receive the money.

I use Paypal and there are no fees charged for money sent from AirBnB to my Paypal account. It's also instant. The moment you get the email from AirBnB saying payment has been sent, it's in your PayPal account. You can then transfer it free of charge to a UK bank account - again instant as they use 'faster payments' which means the money is instantly in your bank account.
