This user [link hidden] uses a screenshot of my listing as his profile picture, then sent me an inquiry to stay at my place. I find it creepy, so I declined and reported the user to Airbnb. Nothing has changed though and he's still using my picture. When confronted, he didn't answer my question and sent another booking request instead. I could simply block him, but Airbnb should do something about this user. What should I do?
@Liz90 But why do you have your own place in your wish list? Are you planning to visit your own place? If you are worried, get to airbnb on twitter for quicker reaction.
I don't see why your question is related to the original topic, but my wishlist is how I keep track of my listings' and other similar listings' performances. It doesn't mean that I have to visit or plan to visit the places in my wishlist, right?
Lovely to speak with you both. I do feel we have gone a little off-topic here, so to address your question here Liz. I presume when you say you have reported this to Airbnb, you have clicked the 'Report this listing' button on their Airbnb account:
If so this will have gone over to a specific team within Airbnb to have a look into further, so I am sure it will be looked into soon. If you are still concerned about this, I would recommend contacting the Airbnb Support Team directly to speak with them.
Lastly, I hope you don't mind, I have removed the link to the person's profile, this is because here in the Community Center we talk in more general terms. I hope this is fine with you.
I hope you get this sorted. It would be great to hear an update. 🙂
Thanks,
Lizzie

Hi Lizzie,
Thank you for your reply and for explaining. Yes I did click the "Report this user" button for "inappropriate content". I believe it would take some time so I haven't contacted Airbnb yet. The user changed his picture, but have not deleted the previous picture (which is the screenshot of my listing). I'll patiently wait, but if within let's say 2-3 weeks the picture is still there then maybe contacting Support Team is a good idea. Thank you again!
Liz
