How do I take a listing down without affecting the people who are booked?

Our landlord wants to us to stop hosting, but we have some guests that are already/currently booked.
How do we take the listing down, without affecting those guests?

@Michael994 even if you snooze your listing you are obligated to host all guests who already booked.

In your case you should contact ABB and ask them to cancel those reservations bc you are not allowed to host them. I think those could be extenuating circumstances so maybee you will not be penalized with fees

So you will be able to host those already booked, but will be finished after that?

I would think you could just block all dates after the last viable booking, make sure IB isn't on, and as a last , emergency measure set the nightly rate on those blocked dates super high, like $1000 per night. Then as soon as last guest checks out, take down the listing.

You could always contact Airbnb to make sure you're doing this correctly and not violate any agreements.

I would suggest you to put in bold capital letters the note "I am no longer hosting (as per your landlord request?)"

Then block all dates.

I think it's important to make the public and AirBnB aware of the reasons for them to lose your business. By the end of the day I feel they don't really care if us hosts are going against rules and local policies... I am from Vancouver, BC and it's shameful to see the regulations the city is proposing WITH Airbnb support.

I am getting out of here pretty soon... unfortunatelly what once was the "philosophy" of the brand, now is just a joke.

Good luck!
