Incorrect pricing

Hi all,

 

I am new here. I have recieved an enquiry with the ridiculous price of €1 a day less Airbnb fees. This enquiry happened during a time I could'nt interact with my guest and I answered the guest on my phone yesterday saying that as soon as I could I would get back to him. Now this enquiry is showing as a booking in all effect. I have changed the booking because I dont want to cancel as I know it has serious effects and messaged my guest to this effect.

 

Another unrealistically priced enquiry was made the day before yesterday, I immediately messaged the guest and no booking was placed. I have gone to check my listing meticulously and nothing seems to be wrong. Why is this happening?

 

This is my first time hosting as I had to suspend my listing for a long time due to my partner being seriously ill. I am now back and I dont want to bungle it. It is unhappy that your questions dont get directly answered from Airbnb, as it seems to be a technical issue.

@Marina65 Looks like you have gotten this resolved.  I took a quick look at your calendar and it has $23 USD consistently for a nightly fee?

Are you still having problems?

Hi All, 

 

I am new Host, I made a Special Offer $2,080 AUD for the Sun 25th Dec - Mon 2nd of January. This initial Offer expired and I emailed the Guest and providied some narrative. 

 

The Guest wanted to proceed and requested that I re-send the special Offer of $2,080. I re-sent this special offer. Several hours later the Guest accepted the offer for a total price of $78 for 8 days. 

 

Secondly, I got another overlaping booking request from the 25 Dec - 27 Dec post the above Events.

About the same time AirBnB released an IOS update. 

 

Further I have amended the Reservation Request to the correct Subtotal: $2,080. But the Service fee is calculating at $3https://www.airbnb.com.au/reservation_alterations/3901806

 

Questions: 

 

1. Have any other hosts experienced, what appear to be technical glitches such as the above? 

 

2. Given that the Agreed price is in the chat history, are there any penalties to the Host for amedning the the Special Offer price if the Guest accepts this "Change to reservation request"?
