Listing is unavailable for an extended period due to a family crisis.

I am concerned about losing my Super Host status, and losing future reservations due to an extended period of unavailaibilty on my calendar.  Can anyone please advise if they have experienced this?

Thank you.

I read somewhere you had to have 10 qualified in a year to be and stay a Superhost along with reviews and ratings of 4.8%.  I will look further because I will be down a few months over summer myself. Good question I am still trying to lean everything I can.

@Tina14 It shouldn't be a problem, I close for 4 months every winter, maintain superhost status & bookings for the summer still come in while I'm closed.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your response.  I have closed for 4 months at a time in the past, however this time will be 11 months, so I was worried about it.

I could not find a phone number to call and talk to AirBnb, but maybe I shouldn't worry about it.

Thanks again!

Tina

@Tina14 I think if you snooze it for 11 months when its back live you have until the next assesment, to get 10 reviews etc, click the link and ask someone.
