Maintaining Response Rate

If you decline a guest can they request a booking again and be accepted? I ask this because I have 3 hours to respond to a guest. I have replied to their message but asked further questions before accepting. They have not replied to my message, so I wont accepted but if they reply later in a satisfactory manner, i would probably be happy for them to stay.

@Nikki39 You could decline them with a message that when they are able to answer your previous message or whatever was the issue, they can submit the request once again as long as the dates are available. I think sometimes travelers are dealing with multiple hosts and looking for the best deal.

Thank you. I was concerned that they could not request a booking again once I had declined them.
