The guest review will still be published after 14 days even if you decide not to leave them a review.
You can leave a public response to a review, of course if you had a bad review you should procede with extreme caution and be quite careful what you write back. I've seen some examples on here where the host saw red and tried to settle a few scores and to be frank it ultimately reflects badly on the host.
Always aim to deal with criticism whether it's justified or unjustified in a professional manner and potential future guests will easily spot who was the unreasonable party. ( eg something along the lines of.... sorry you had some trouble with operating the appliances and if you had have only had have let me know about this I would gladly have spent some extra time with you to explain things )
Anyway what's the worst that can happen - you might get annoyed for a couple of days, but the review will soon disappear down under new reviews - and you will forget all about it after a week. Your guests might have even left you a good review in the meantime, you never know.
